Stephanie Lafond
BA, CFP®
Owner, Senior Financial Planner
Stephanie began her career in the financial services industry in 1993 after attending both Ottawa and Queen’s Universities. As a small business owner, she has seen many changes in the financial services landscape over the years. Stephanie believes that a relationship of mutual trust and commitment from all parties involved in the planning process is the essential ingredient to long-term success with her clients. Together, with the team at Limestone, Stephanie focuses on financial, tax, retirement income and estate planning, either in part or as a whole, depending on your needs. Stephanie believes that money is personal and it’s why the value of our relationships is driven by low volatility, wealth building, client security and independence.
Over the years, giving back to her community has always been important to Stephanie, as evidenced with my many volunteer commitments to both her industry as well as to her communities: past-president of the Kingston Chapter of Advocis, a national association for financial advisors, past member of the MGI and Desjardins Wealth Advisory Councils, where she represented her independent dealer’s advisors in Ontario, at the national level. In the community, Stephanie has been involved on various boards, as a member-at-large, committee member and Chairperson. Some of her past commitments have been with Childbirth Kingston, Cantabile Choirs of Kingston, Princess St United Church, Kingston Symphony, the City of Kingston Heritage and Culture Committee, The Spire, the investment review committee of the Southern Ontario Fund for Investment in Innovation (SOFII). Stephanie is currently on The Community Foundation for Kingston & Area | CFKA Grants Committee.
